You may recognise these chairs from Ange chairup. I have painted these beauties today for Ange in a lovely fresh white and gone is the off white. How stunning they are going to look with there new chair pads, I would love to have these chairs at my dining table.

Crazy Week & House News

Well I think its all started the sports breakups the graduation dress and dinner to arrange and not to mention thinking about Christmas presents. Just quietly we have found a new house. Contracts all accepted and we are almost over the finish line. Will tell you all about it once it goes unconditional but all very exciting to say the least. Not an old house but a new house that is going to become old. It's big and will have lots of room for all my furniture. Does mean that we will be back on the Coast and kids will need to change schools - but that was happening anyway with Paige going into High School next year. Have that all under control and feel like everything is falling into place.

Having such a lazy Sunday afternoon I thought I would cover another lamp shade. I have taken some photos along the way of the general steps to re-covering so will post that later through the week. Hope your all enjoying your Sunday.

Seven things that you may not know about me.
1) I started my working career as an apprentice hairdresser.
2) Have been married for 15 years to a wonderful man and have two fantastic children.
3) My furniture addiction started when I was 18 and I bought my first chest of drawers from an old farm house. It was cedar and I paid $20 bucks for it - an mazing piece.
4) I cannot leave the house without all the beds being made and vacuming.
5) I almost got locked up on my hens night (wont tell you why).
6) I don't like confined spaces and being in situations I cannot control.
7) I was a real tomboy growing up - had my own BMX Bike and would rather hang with the boy across the road and ride my horse than play dolls .
